We’re a proudly family-owned business, founded in 2014 and based in Auckland, New Zealand. Tactical Imports Ltd represents some of the world’s finest weapon systems. Our team is dedicated to delivering premium small arms solutions for hunting and sport shooting enthusiasts—specializing in rifles, shotguns, pistols, and optics.

Who We Represent

We are licensed firearms dealers and the exclusive New Zealand agents for: Daniel Defense, POF-USA, Battle Arms Development, and Langdon Tactical.

We also represent leading brands including: Volquartsen, Alexander Arms, Bergara, Christensen Arms, Desert Tech, Henry, Mauser, Sauer, Smith & Wesson, and Q LLC.

For optics, we proudly supply: Arken, Athlon, Swampfox, Vortex, Sightmark, Leupold and Nightforce.  

We import and sell Spuhr mounts, Victor stocks and chassis, and recommend top-quality New Zealand-made suppressors from Hardy and DPT.

Import Services

Need to bring your overseas-purchased firearms into New Zealand? We can help.
Working alongside your UK or Australian dealer (who manages export permits), we handle the New Zealand side of the process, including:

• Securing your NZ import permit (NZ firearms license required)

• Customs clearance

• Freight and handling

• Final collection

Our streamlined, low-cost model ensures you get the best possible prices.

Returns & Warranty Policy

We reserve the right to charge a 15% restocking fee for used or returned items.

The limited lifetime warranty is valid from the original date of purchase for the lifetime of the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

Coverage:
The warranty applies to manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Proof of purchase must be retained and presented when making a warranty claim.

Resolution:
If a defect is confirmed as a manufacturing fault, Tactical Imports Ltd will, at its discretion, repair or replace the product at no cost.

Exclusions:
This warranty does not cover:

• Normal wear and tear, corrosion, neglect, abuse, or unreasonable use.

• Routine maintenance and service.

• Damage caused by careless handling, unauthorized adjustments or modifications, or failure to follow the provided Safety & Instruction manuals.

• Use of defective or improper ammunition or propellant.

• Use of non-authorized replacement parts (including barrels and springs).

• Criminal misuse, negligence, or use under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

• Parallel-imported products or items not purchased from an authorized retailer.

This warranty is in addition to the rights and guarantees provided under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and any applicable manufacturer’s warranty.

Warranty Returns:
Tactical Imports is committed to providing the highest quality gear. If a product requires warranty service:

• Contact us via email and phone for authorization.

• Some items may need to be returned directly to the manufacturer; others must come to us first for review.

• Non-warranty work may incur labor charges.

• Items may be repaired or replaced at the manufacturer’s discretion.

• Clearly mark the return shipping box with the RMA# provided by us.

• Customers cover shipping to us; we cover return shipping for confirmed defects.
